The Los Angeles County District Attorney El Monte woman has been charged with the brutal murder of her mother. Kimberly Monique Gonzalez has been charged with one count of murder and one count of assault with a deadly weapon and faces a maximum of life in prison. She's being held on a $2 million bail. 22, El Monte officers responded to Gonzalez's home in the 11000 block of Ranchito Street and found Gonzalez outside, covered in blood. Inside the home, officers found her mother suffering from multiple stab wounds. Gonzalez's mother was pronounced dead at their home. Investigators believe that Gonzalez 'personally used a knife' to kill her mother.
