An elderly man has been found lying unconscious in critical condition on an Epping road, police suspect he may be the victim of a suspected hit and run. 7NEWS
One resident heard a loud noise and came out to find the man lying on the roadway, but no cars were seen to have stopped.Watch the latest news and stream for free onThe 78-year-old Epping man had suffered severe head and internal injuries, and was located on the Boronia Ave roadway just before 7.45pm on Monday.
The resident called emergency services and paramedics and police attended the scene until a Toll helicopter carrying a medical team arrived, landing on the nearby tennis court at Grant Close.The 78-year-old Epping man was transported to Royal North Shore Hospital in critical condition.He was found with serious head and internal injuries after a resident heard a loud noise outside.Police were unable to immediately identify the man, who is described as being of Asian appearance on Monday.
