about the way some MPs appear to be front and centre in Albanese’s absence while others appear to be “frozen out”.Returning to Jane Hume’s ABC TV interview from earlier this morning, and the financial services minister insists her side of politics isn’t split over climate policy.
The last time the Reserve Bank of Australia lifted rates during an election campaign was in 2007. Former Liberal prime minister John Howard lost that election and his own seat.But Morrison says there’s a big difference between 2007 and now, not least of which is the official rate was 6.5 per cent then and now it is 0.1 per cent.
