Football commentator and women’s sport advocate Lucy Zelic has slammed the International Olympic Committee’s decision to allow two Zambian women’s football players to compete despite previously failing gender eligibility tests.
Australia defeated Zambia 6-5 in the group stage on Sunday in the southern French city of Nice in a rollercoaster match which saw the Matildas cling on to their medal hopes.

SkyNews.com.au is not suggesting either Banda and Kundananji are transgender or intersex, only that the two women failed gender testing for the Africa Cup of Nations in 2022.
