Christina Ricci's eccentric and creepy survivor Misty Quigley joins forces with Elijah Wood's new character in a new image from Yellowjackets season 2. Ricci stars alongside Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, and Juliette Lewis in the Showtime thriller series that first premiered in November 2021 and concluded in January 2022.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY In a new post uploaded by the official Yellowjackets Instagram account, viewers got their first glimpse of Wood's new character, as the Lord of the Rings star joins Yellowjackets season 2 in a recurring role. In the image, Misty is standing alongside Wood's character in the wilderness, as the pair are framed through what appears to be a gap in a fence.

But while Wood's character may be a fellow member of the Citizen Detective community, his fascination with Misty may prove to be a fatal mistake. During Yellowjackets season 1, Misty is shown to be capable of many cruel acts, including mistreating her patients in her nursing career and kidnapping reporter Jessica .
Amongst Yellowjackets' cast of survivors, Misty has already proven herself to be one of the most dangerous, as her cheerful demeanor hides a darker side that's eager to please her peers, no matter the cost.
