Ellie Goulding debuts new heartbreak ballad about split from husband
IT hasn’t been an easy few months for Ellie Goulding after she confirmed the breakdown of her four-year marriage to art dealer Caspar Jopling.
This year marks 15 years since her debut single Under The Sheets was released, and she used her time on stage to reflect on her career.“I feel like I’m so grateful for the ups and downs of my career and the rollercoaster it’s been.“It’s never been straight- forward and it keeps things spicy and interesting.”Well, unfortunately for her, it was Deptford in South London, so probably one of the least glamorous places there is.
David Neely, who was the booker at the venue, said of the show: “It was a sell- out 500 people at the gig and tickets were only £6.75.She was spotted with a skateboard on the Croisette in Cannes while shooting a new ad campaign. The Gladiator star will bring his show, dubbed Russell Crowe’s Indoor Garden Party, to the festival’s acoustic stage at the end of June.
