X owner Elon Musk has continued his attacks on Australian politicians ahead of a Federal Court hearing on Wednesday about violent content on the platform.

On Tuesday, Senator Lambie said Mr Musk had “no social conscience, or conscience whatsoever.” Calling for him to be jailed, she said he was “an absolute friggin’ disgrace.”The federal government’s eSafety commissioner will return to the Federal Court on Wednesday afternoon seeking to extend an emergency injunction to force X to remove videos of the attack at the Christ the Good Shepherd Church in Wakeley last week.
The online watchdog has confirmed it will seek a permanent injunction and civil penalties against X at a final hearing Communications Minister Michelle Rowland told ABC radio social media users should report violent content, including the Sydney footage.
