A witness described seeing a heavy police presence
Police and paramedics were scrambled to Rufford Drive in Whitefield at around 4pm on Sunday .
A spokesman for GMP confirmed a pedestrian has been hit by a car travelling at “low speed”. Their condition is not yet known, however the M.E.N has asked for more information.A witness, who passed the scene of the incident, said: “There were quite a lot of people out near the emergency vehicles - three police cars, two police 4x4s and an ambulance - we had to turn around near the shops and go Sunnybank way.
