The second trial never went ahead, because Mr O'Shea made a deal with prosecutors to testify in exchange for his charges being dropped.The witness admitted he had previously denied sourcing the gun but swore under oath the testimony in Petrov's trial was true. At the time, the pair were in the middle of bitter court battles over custody of their children and the ownership of several properties.
