Emmerdale stars Lucy Pargeter and Emma Atkins have revealed two characters they would love to play on the ITV soap.
Asked if they both had to play another character on the soap, who it would be, Emma revealed: "For me there are two people, one of whom is still in the show and one who has left. "The other one is Emma Barton, remember Emma Barton? Gillian Kearney she could play crazy so well and I thought: 'I'd love to play a character that zany and crazy!'"Lucy continued: "Or you [Emma], I think we're quite similar but you get away with being nastier and I'd want Chas to be slightly nastier. She used to be but she's mellowed in her old age!"
With Emma agreeing with Lucy's choice: "Ooh, you'd be so good at that, in those amazing suits and the caps, yes!"
