Poor Vinny remains in danger Emmerdale’s resident psychopath Tom King seems to be starting to crack. The more his jealousy over Vinny Dingle being close to Belle escalates, the more unhinged his actions become. He tried to destroy their friendship by letting Vinny take the blame for the lost dog, when in reality, Tom had stolen the dog and hidden her. That failed to fully destroy Belle and Vinny’s relationship, which led to Tom’s evil gathering pace at frightening speed.
His grip on reality is ebbing away as he works to step up his plan to extricate Vinny from their lives. In this new phase, he begins by deliberately belittling Vinny, but later switches tack and decides to cosy up to him instead.
