Amy Walsh will be back in Emmerdale for the soap's 50th anniversary with former faves Danny Miller and Elizabeth Estensen
Emmerdale star Amy Walsh has hinted at what the long-term future holds for her character Tracy Metcalfe after her brief 50th anniversary return.
Amy’s character Tracy will be back in the village for Emmerdale’s milestone celebrations happening across October. Explaining her return, Amy said: “It was lovely to be invited back for the 50th. When I was going on maternity leave Jane , the executive producer, mentioned it was all happening around August and September and said if I wanted to be a part of it to let her know but when it came to it, I just wasn’t ready to come back full-time.
“It’s also lovely to be back with all the covid restrictions finally lifted as it was very different the last time I was here.” As part of the Emmerdale 50th anniversary celebrations other returning soap legends include Aaron Dingle and Diane Sugden. Both are delighted to be back on a temporary basis.
