Emmerdale star Michelle Hardwick has shared a sweet message as her co-star wife has quit the Yorkshire soap to join Manchester ITV rivals Coronation Street. and has worked on almost a thousand episodes.

Both professionally and personally, Emmerdale has given me so much more than I ever could have imagined, and for that I shall be eternally grateful.
