Fans were confused by the legendary character's actions
Wednesday's episode of the long-running soap continued to explore the fallout of Cain and Caleb Milligan's mysterious plot. The onscreen brother have put their differences aside to go on a road trip.
The legendary character, played by Jeff Hordley, packed his things at the start of tonight's episode in preparation for the trip. His partner, Moira, was confused by his swift exit as she quizzed him on what he had planned.Cain claimed he had a job importing cars and Caleb needed a mechanic to help with the transaction. However, Nate and Moira suspected he was lying and grilled him on the story.
Moira was particularly concerned about who was going to run their business while Caleb was away. Cain was confident Mack could take over but viewers following the show on X, formerly known as Twitter, were baffled by the plot.MIchael added: "That [is a] joke. Mack a mechanic [is] like putting Sam in charge of the woolpack."
Cain ignored Moira's protestations that she is going to change the locks while he is away and set off with Caleb at the end of tonight's show, their true motives still shrouded in mystery.
