The pop star took the stage at Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater in a dramatic black evening gown, and was accompanied by a pianist for her moving and subdued performance of "Time After Time" for the ceremony's in memoriam segment.This year's tribute honored renowned director John Singleton, actress, director and producer Penny Marshall, Broadway and film icon Carol Channing and a number of formidable talents in television who've passed in the last year.
