An Edinburgh Marathon runner proposed to his girlfriend after the pair reached the finishing line of the 26 mile race.
Edinburgh Live reports that those gathered on the sidelines to watch the marathon shifted their focus on the couple to cheer them on as they exchanged a ring. And after footage was uploaded to the Edinburgh Marathon Facebook page, other participants were quick to comment in support. Another added: "Congratulations! We had a chat at the start line, so glad you got to do it as planned, delighted for you both!"
