Belfast City AirportThousands of people will be returning to Northern Ireland today as they hope to meet up with family and friends at home over the festive season.
At Belfast City Airport around 10,000 passengers would be coming through their doors as they try to make it home in time for Christmas. At arrivals today, those who have been working abroad hugged their partners tightly as they met again, while sisters who had not seen in each other in weeks embraced each other with glee.
Parents were overjoyed to meet with their children and there were a lot of happy people rejoicing that their travels had ended.
