Politicians across the spectrum have made their final reflections on the Voice to Parliament referendum, as millions across the country cast their votes on the historic amendment today.
Emotions are high on the ground as voters around Australia take to 7,100 polling booths nationwide to decide on whether to enshrine an Indigenous Voice in the constitution, along with campaigners from both Yes and No sides out with all guns blazing to advocate for their respective cases.

“It’s a historic day for Australia. It's a day for Australians to vote with their hopes. Hope for a better future for our indigenous Australians,” he said. “I’ve taken the stand that I’ve taken because I wanted to be here on this day handing out how to vote cards in my electorate and campaigning for something I believe in.”
“He chose not to pursue constitutional recognition alone, but to pursue constitutional recognition... through Labor’s risky Voice,” Senator Cash said in a press conference.“Referendums in Australia get up when they get bipartisan support. Peter Dutton offered to Anthony Albanese bipartisan support in relation to the issue of constitutional recognition… but Mr Albanese decided to pursue politics over good policy.
