Millions of customers had their data exposed in the Optus breach, and several ministers have criticised the company's response.

Optus customers' private information could be compromised after a cyber attack hit the phone and internet provider.Optus has handed over data to Services Australia almost a fortnight after a massive data breach was revealed.

The telecommunications giant has launched an independent review conducted by consultancy firm Deloitte of the circumstances surrounding the data hack.
