Stokes helped halt the avalanche of runs when he had Williamson caught for a run-a-ball 40 by Rashid, with Jimmy Neesham following shortly after when he was caught by Curran on the square leg boundary off the bowling of Wood, who was regularly clocked in excess of 150kph — peaking at 154.7kph.Woakes and Curran were charged with bowling the death overs, and the former had Mitchell caught on the long on rope by Chris Jordan — on for Livingstone — for 3 in an over that cost just 3.
