How Labour plans to tackle antisocial behaviour ✒️ lisanandy and YvetteCooperMP for ipaperviews

Labour will put an additional 13,000 neighbourhood police and PCSOs [Police Community Support Officers] back into communities where they belong. Our neighbourhood policing guarantee will mean new town centre patrols, named officers for every area and new crime prevention teams where the police, councils and agencies work together.

We’ll give communities more support to stop young people getting drawn into crime in the first place, with proper mental health provision in our schools, youth mentors to work with vulnerable young people and a tough new criminal offence to catch the criminals exploiting children into crime.

People in every part of our country are ambitious for themselves, their families and their communities. They want to contribute to local economies, driving economic growth from every town, village and city, and they deserve clean, safe town centres in which to do it.
