The Rangers are 34-19, matching the 1996 team for the best 53-game start in Senators/Rangers history. They will reach the one-third mark of the season on Tuesday. "I liked our selectiveness at the plate — we got Eovaldi out after five innings — but we couldn't come through with a big hit," Tigers manager A.J. Hinch said. "We've gotten those hits more often lately, but it didn't happen today."
