Aidan O'Brien's three-year-old Frankel filly to land Classic glory on day one of the Betfred Derby Festival at Epsom while Luxembourg can take the Coronation Cup and Spanish Star, City Streak, Zoum Zoum, Teej A and Finn's Charm may also score

The daughter of Frankel can build on a fine run in the QIPCO 1,000 Guineas on her return to action at the start of the month to land the Fillies’ Classic at Epsom on day one the Betfred Derby Festival. Ylang Ylang won three of her five juvenile starts. After two wins from her first two starts, including a seven-furlong Group Three at Leopardstown in July, she disappointed when last of nine stepped up to Group One company in the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh.

Stable-mate Rubies Are Red, a fine staying-on second to the reopposing You Got To Me in the Oaks Trial Fillies’ Stakes at Lingfield; Ralph Beckett’s Forest Fairy, who won the Cheshire Oaks at Chester at the start of the month; and her stable-mate Treasure – owned by King Charles III and Queen Camilla – can all be in the mix. But Ylang Ylang can come out on top to triumph.

John and Thady Gosden’s Emily Upjohn finished fifth in the Dubai Sheema Classic in Meydan and is odds-on to become the first dual winner of the Coronation Cup since treble star St Nicholas Abbey . She could be a tough nut to crack but Luxembourg looks value to deny her this time. Another May Festival winner on the Roodee, CITY STREAK, can also double up in the Betfred Nifty 50 Handicap . The Andrew Balding-trained five-year-old has three wins from his last 11 starts and has been second or third in five others. He is in fine form and although he only scored by a nose from Box To Box, he looks capable of landing another success at Epsom.
