Man United will be determined to get back on track when they face Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford tomorrow afternoon.

Following a somewhat turbulent international break, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag must be longing for 3pm tomorrow afternoon.

Equipped with attack-minded full-backs and wingers, Brighton like to make things happen via the wide areas, most often through the likes of Pervis Estupinan, Solly March and Kaoru Mitoma. Ansu Fati, fresh from arriving from Barcelona, will also be looking to join the party. The build-up to the clash with Seagulls has, of course, been dominated by Jadon Sancho and Antony, and neither of them will play any part this weekend. It means the door is open for Facundo Pellistri, at long last, to potentially secure his first Premier League start.

Should he get the nod, it is likely he will join forces with Aaron Wan-Bissaka down the right. The defender has been one of United's better players so far this season and has gone from strength to strength since his unexpected return to the squad last December. As for United's left, Ten Hag could also choose to deploy a new-look combination on that side of the field. Sergio Reguilon, following an injury to Luke Shaw, was drafted in on transfer deadline day on loan from Tottenham Hotspur and could make his debut. He was an unused substitute against Arsenal prior to the pause.

Having won the famous trophy three times, the Reds have a wonderful history in the European Cup. Now the Dutchman has to live up to that legacy.
