The defending Premier League champions have previously explored the possibility of extending the deal he signed in 2022.
The Norway international is currently under contract at the Etihad Stadium until 2027, but City will look to extend his deal beyond that point and extended what is a “hugely” lucrative agreement. Haaland is currently City’s only experienced striker after the club sold Julian Alvarez to Atletico Madrid earlier this summer.Haaland has enjoyed a fruitful spell at City which has seen him win two Premier League titles, the FA Cup, a Community Shield, one Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup.
