Mr Spartels said a major 11-month renovation on Heppell’s home saw everything demolished but the facade and sides. “We were pretty inventive, using Venetian polished plaster and LED strip lights throughout the whole house and ceiling,” Mr Spartels said.Prior to the renovation, the home “was very derelict” with collapsing floors, he said.
