Essendon speedster Nick Hind has been delisted by the club. The 30-year-old was one of three Bombers not offered contracts for 2025, with Tex Wanganeen and Kaine Baldwin also let go. Hind joined the Bombers from St Kilda in the 2020 trade period and quickly became a key player at the club. He played 43 of a possible 45 games in his first two years, but unluckily missed out on the elimination final in 2021 after vising a COVID exposure site.
Father-son Bomber Wanganeen joined the club ahead of the 2022 season and played five senior games, while Baldwin managed eight across his four years. “Nick, Tex and Kaine have all been popular members of our footy club who showed resilience and determination to get the most out of their footy careers during their time with us,” Dons general manager of footy Daniel McPherson said.
