Chinese car giant Geely has acquired an even larger controlling stake in its electric vehicle subsidiary Zeekr – which in turn now owns a majority share of hybrid specialist Lynk & Co. The overall Geely corporation currently has almost a dozen automotive brands under its ownership, including its namesake Geely Auto brand, plus Zeekr, Lynk & Co, Radar, Proton, Volvo, Polestar, Lotus and Smart, to name a few. Prior to today, Geely owned approximately 54.
