The New South Wales State Emergency Service has issued a number of evacuation orders for parts of Sydney, on Sunday evening, as the city faces its heaviest rains in more than two-decades.
An evacuation order was issued for residents in parts of Narrabeen, Moorebank, Chipping Norton and Milperra within the city. More than 100,000 people are without power across the state.
Emergency services in NSW are also warning of worsening conditions and further evacuations, as heavy rain lashes coastal areas. Multiple flood warnings are in place from the South Coast up to Queensland, which is also experiencing wild weather. Image: Getty
