Star Trek: Picard season 3 reunited the cast of TNG after a long wait, but it sacrificed some major story ideas involving the Borg and Khan to do so.
The Star Trek: The Next Generation reunion in Star Trek: Picard season 3 was thrilling, but it came at the cost of some major story teases being completely forgotten about. Picard was ultimately a character piece that focused on the twilight years of Admiral Jean-Luc Picard as he reconciled the mistakes of his past. In season 1, Jean-Luc confronted his own mortality, while in seasons 2 and 3 he reconciled his issues with his father, and his Borg trauma to become a father to Ensign Jack Crusher .
9 The Borg Artifact Left On Coppelius The Borg Artifact cube crash-landed on Coppelius at the end of Star Trek: Picard season 1, but it's never been established what happened next. Picard season 3 revealed that the dying Borg Queen was practically the last of her kind, so it's unlikely that the Collective would have headed to Coppelius to salvage their tech. It's likely that Starfleet have removed the Artifact from Coppelius, perhaps stripping it for valuable technology.
6 Do Supervisors Still Exist On Earth After Star Trek: Picard Season 2? Tallinn was a Supervisor, and the Star Trek: Picard equivalent of Gary Seven from Star Trek: The Original Series. In the TOS episode "Assignment: Earth", Captain James T Kirk encountered Gary, who was a time-traveling Supervisor sent to ensure that humankind did not instigate a nuclear war in 1968. Tallinn's mission was to protect Renée, so that she could make her discovery on Io.
3 Agnes Jurati’s Borg Dr. Agnes Jurati was responsible for the Borg's evolution in Star Trek: Picard when she was bonded with the dying Borg Queen . Arriving in the 24th century, Jurati's new benevolent Borg Collective offered peace and assistance with the dangerous temporal anomaly discovered by the USS Avalon.
