Everything Everywhere All At Once has won the best film cast trophy at the Screen Actors Guild awards.
The sci-fi adventure film is about a middle-aged Chinese-American immigrant and her husband as they scramble to complete their taxes while the Internal Revenue Service is auditing their laundromat. The film's star Michelle Yeoh won the award for lead female actor, while Ke Huy Quan won best male supporting actor and Jamie Lee Curtis won best female supporting actor.Accepting her trophy at the ceremony in Los Angeles, Yeoh said:"This is not just for me.Image:Quan, a Vietnamese-American actor who was a child star before taking a long break from acting, said he was the first Asian to win in his category.
