The Acolyte trailer reveals elements of the show.

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The newest addition to the Star Wars saga, Star Wars: The Acolyte, has finally uncovered a few more details about the mysterious series in a long-awaited trailer. The new footage reveals a look into a dark period in an otherwise very peaceful time for the Jedi. Beyond The Acolyte's first trailer, Star Wars has also released a poster and updated bios for the new characters on StarWars.com.

9 The Dark Side Will Make Moves After A Long Period Of Inactivity The Jedi Will Be Unprepared Close The dark side of the Force will undoubtedly be explored in The Acolyte. This has been clear from the beginning, but the trailer puts that into chilling clarity. Whether the dark stirrings in the galaxy are due to the Sith or other dark side users, it’s clear that the Jedi feel like they’ve been caught off guard.

While Headland mentioned in her Star Wars Celebration interview that though some Star Wars characters with long lifespans would be alive during The Acolyte, she decidedly refused to say who might be around during The Acolyte. This indicates a possibility of several well-known characters coming into play. This is, however, likely referencing Jedi like Yoda, Yaddle, and Yarael Poof rather than the Sith Lords of old - though it's certainly still not out of the realm of possibility.

Kelnacca is played by Joonas Suotamo, who portrayed the legendary Chewbacca in Solo: A Star Wars Story and the Star Wars sequels.
