Former Australian women's cricketer Michelle Goszko has been admitted to hospital after suffering a stroke on Saturday.News of Goszko's admission was revealed by former international teammate Lisa Sthalekar during a WBBL broadcast on the Seven Network.Goszko appeared in four Tests and 34 ODIs at the international level for Australia during the 2000s
"She is in ICU [and] she is talking a little bit and she's improving slowly. The cricket community is certainly behind you, Gozzy." The 44-year-old Goszko played four Test matches for Australia between 2001 and 2006, making a double-century on debut against England.She also appeared in 34 women's ODI matches, making 669 runs at an average of 25.73.
