Head of Referee Operations Crawford Allan is set to leave his post at the end of the campaign after a season of VAR controversy.
A "stormy" meeting reportedly took place before before SFA refereeing chief Crawford Allan announced he would quit his Hampden role at the end of season.
The Sun report that SFA chief executive Ian Maxwell was in attendance for a meeting with SFA chief governance officer Gary Booth - with a “stormy” atmosphere during the talks that sparked “raised voices”. The search for Allan's successor is now underway with Hampden bosses said to be keen on an “experienced" candidate to be in place for the new season.
