The Israel international was left raging with a section of his old club's support.
Former Celtic star Nir Bitton has launched an incredible attack in his old club's fans over their show of support for Palestine.
The Israeli spent almost a decade at Parkhead but took to Instagram to slam the Hoops supporters after the Green Brigade ultras held up banners and flags saying ‘Free Palestine’ with a second saying ‘Victory To The Resistance!!’. And they were surrounded by Palestinian flags. It comes on the day fighting escalated in the Middle East with Palestinian group Hamas launching an attack on Israel which killed at least 40. And in retaliation, Gaza say at least 198 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli air attacks. A section of the support have consistently shown their support to the Palestinian cause.
But Bitton posted: "Shame on you!!! Yes free Gaza from Hamas not from Israel!! Support terror organisation who's proudly celebrating the slaughtering of families is absolutely crazy!! Embarrassing. Most of you don't even know where Israel is. You have zero clue about this conflict and still act like you know everything.
"As a father of 3 kids I want to see how you react when your innocent kids getting slaughtered and kidnapped infront of your eyes. And please don't tell me this is what Israel do to Palestinians because this is far from being true. Stop being brainwashed and biased and educated yourself with facts!!!"
