An ex- Police Scotland officer has been found guilty of 'appalling abuse' against several Lanarkshire women
Following a complaint against the 31-year-old, an investigation was launched and officers took proactive steps to identify and approach further potential victims. Ferguson was arrested and charged in 2021 and suspended immediately.Assistant Chief Constable Stuart Houston said: “My thoughts are with those who survived the appalling abuse by Christopher Ferguson and I hope this conviction provides them with some measure of closure.
