SAN ANTONIO — James Brennand, the 25-year-old now-fired police officer who shot 17-year-old Erik Cantu multiple times on Oct. 2, has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault by a public servant, the San Antonio Police Department reported Tuesday evening.
