The Blue Innovations Group R30 is almost ready to be shown off to the world, and the American-designed and built electric power boat will launch on December 16. However, deliveries of the boat have been delayed by a few months. The 30-foot , 800 hp boat was first shown off at CES, and the company announced today that it will make its public debut in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The R30 is a testament to American innovation and the cutting-edge technologies emerging from the State of Florida. Equipped with two electric motors that pump out a total of 800 hp , the R30 features a 221 kWh battery pack that's helped by a roof covered in solar panels.
