The former treasurer of a charity for the families of fallen New York Police Department officers was charged with bank fraud and identity theft Thursday for allegedly stealing $410,000 from the nonprofit and using the money to pay for Barbra Streisand tickets and legal fees for her son, federal prosecutors said.
Lorraine Shanley, 68 years old, is accused of skimming money from the charity between 2010 and 2017, according to the U.S. attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York.
