A new Lego resale store is set to open
Shoppers in a town on the Nottinghamshire border have shared their excitement as a new Lego resale store is set to open. BarnDawg has taken up an empty unit on Market Place in Long Eaton.People in the town welcomed the news about the new shop - as the high street has lost a number of stores in recent months. Carol Flet, 33, from Sandiacre, said: "I'm excited for it."I want Harry Potter, Star Wars - I don't have loads at home. I'm quite excited.
Carol's mum, 57-year-old Jackie Flet, added: "A lot of people have been saying they can't wait . I've got a niece and she loves anything Lego.BarnDawg describes itself as a 'hub' where old Lego can find a new home. It offers a 25% discount to anyone who wants to drop off old Lego pieces that they have lying around or aren't using.
Long Eaton resident Barney Collier, 51, said: "It's nice to see a unit being filled. I don't think it will impact me much."With this place it's struggling, only food retail seems to be alright."
