Exciting arts and culture festival returning to Glasgow this month
, and music from the likes of Japanese DJ ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, influential performance artist Matt Mullican , and Taiwanese live artist River Lin.
With a weekend of live performances at the Centre for Contemporary Arts, Tramway and a week-long residency at French Street, the festival will ultimately see a celebration of queer artists of colour claiming space on the ScottishJTTE artistic director, Jian Yi, said: “The name of the festival is based on Herman Hesse’s novel of the same title, igniting a renewed interest around creative practices inspired by Eastern arts and spirituality - but also representing a journey in a metaphorical sense...
"We are interested in finding different models of cultural curation that come from artists’ lived experience and reflect current experimental practice with a focus on amplifying the voices of artists of colour, and as an artist-led grassroots project we create a space for diverse audiences in
