Kohn-Murphy, who is Jewish, was asked why he had 'nothing to stay' on the Hamas attack. Responding on X, formerly known as Twitter, he said: 'I'm Jewish and have been targeted in anti-Semitic hate for years. He said: 'In America you have democratic leaders calling for the killing of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians as a response to Hamas violence.'
He went on: 'We are seeing before our eyes war crimes that Israel is committing against Palestine and that must be addressed and called out.'
