Tom Hannifan says he feels “so fulfilled” now working for Impact Wrestling
"This is what I've always wanted."It's been just over a year since Tom Hannifan made his debut for Impact Wrestling after nearly a decade working forWhile at WWE, Hannifan had been used as a commentator for Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and PPV events, so his release in May 2021 came as a shock to fans.
"This is what I've always wanted. It was what I was always working for in WWE, I wanted to be in that seat as the lead commentator for WWE," he added. "I had watched a lot of it as I was growing up," Hannifan said."I had paid attention to Impact Wrestling here and there and especially when I was in WWE. I always paid attention to what was going on in other promotions, whether it was watching different wrestlers or watching announcers and hearing how they were doing.
