*I-40 RESTRICTIONS* I-40 will be reduced to one lane in each direction in segments between Joseph City and Perkins Valley Road (mileposts 278 - 283) beginning the week of June 12 until August for paving work. MORE:

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for lane restrictions along Interstate 40 between Joseph City and Holbrook beginning the week of June 12.I-40 will be reduced to one lane in each direction in segments between Joseph City and Perkins Valley Road . Drivers should slow down and merge over when entering the work zone and watch for workers and equipment.Restrictions will be lifted after work hours each day.

Paving work is scheduled to last until August. No work will take place from Friday, June 30, through Tuesday, July 4, for the Fourth of July holiday.
