AFL: On AFL Tonight, West Coast premiership player Will Schofield believes Geelong assistant Steven King is the man the Eagles want as their next coach.
Will Schofield said Steven King , who is assisting Chris Scott at Geelong, will be the club’s new coach after Adam Simpson departed in July., claiming King would join the Eagles once the Cats’ finals campaign comes to a conclusion.“ Steven King — he’s the man that I’m hearing is the number one target for the West Coast Eagles ,” Schofield told Fox Footy on Wednesday night.
“He’s been coaching, he’s got the experience that others on that list don’t have, and I think he’s the guy that West Coast wants. King also coached at St Kilda and the Western Bulldogs — and he was a part of the coaching panel that led the Dogs to their 2016 premiership.
