NSW Health has confirmed they have changed their approach to contact tracing. 9News
has scaled back contact tracing for close contacts of COVID-19 cases as infections soar in the state.
"People who have been confirmed as COVID-19 cases are asked to tell those they have recently spent time with that they have tested positive," NSW Health said. Unless it is a high-risk setting where there are vulnerable people including aged care homes or household contacts, NSW Health will not be alerting people exposed to the virus.What do I do if I'm told by a friend that I've been exposed?
