More than 100 firefighters are battling a fire which has triggered explosions and is still spreading at an ammunition dump near Germany's capital Berlin.A robot and water cannon have been sent in, but the fire remains uncontainedWater cannon and an army robot were brought in to tackle the blaze near Grunewald, a forested area west of Berlin, officials said.
The firefighters set up a perimeter zone and laid hoses through the forest from nearby rivers and lakes.The fire has spread across some 15,000 square metres. Berlin often carries out bomb disposal operations, as explosives are still being discovered from World War II.
