F1 23 has introduced several new features this year, with the return of Braking Point one of the major changes. The returning storyline mode has received positive reviews so far as Aiden Jackson and Devon Butler lock horns once more on and off the track.
Unfortunately, the red flag feature does not seem to be working properly, with plenty of fans reporting one specific bug. Interestingly though, the red flag itself does not appear to be the problem, and bringing the race to a halt seems to be working just fine. Upon completing the race, the game will revert the race results to the standings from when the race was initially red-flagged. While frustrating, it does not look like this issue will be around for too much longer…Most games now release a day one patch, touching up some of the minor issues found in the game, and we expect the same for F1 23. Speaking exclusively to Lee Mather, EA Senior Creative Director, Mather confirmed that EA was aware of the issue and a fix will be imminent.
