Innocent people had been eating and drinking in Fat Cat bar when violence erupted
Football hooligan Craig Flint, pictured, was jailed for 21 months concurrently on two charges of violent disorder just 90 minutes apart outside two city bars. The 41-year-old, of Silver Street, Whitwick, Coalville, Leicestershire, pleaded guilty to both charges and was sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court on Wednesday with seven others who were involved in the violent scenes before Nottingham Forest's 4-1 FA Cup victory last season over Leicester City.
Nottinghamshire Police released pictures of two more offenders who were jailed on Wednesday: Tyrone Smith, 38, of Central Road, Leicester, was handed 16 months in prison after his role in the disorder outside Fat Cat involved him throwing two chairs and aggressively gesticulating to people. “We put a lot of effort into tracking down the people involved, and I would like to thank every member of the public who gave us the names we needed to take this case forward.
