Raina Cruise has been given a good behaviour bond for assaulting a police officer and two security guards while 'particularly fired-up' after attending an anti-COVID vaccination rally in 2021.
A woman who intentionally caused harm to a police officer while "significantly intoxicated" has been placed on a three-year good behaviour bond .
"I accept that you have a problem with your behaviour after drinking alcohol and that you were particularly fired-up after attending an anti-vaccination rally," Judge Deuter said. Judge Deuter said Cruise punched the other security guard to the left side of his forehead, and below his left ear. Constable Beck suffered multiple injuries during the altercation, including two patches of her hair torn from her scalp.and said she was unaware she had been pregnant at the time of the assault.Raina Cruise assaulted a police officer in October 2021.The offending breached a two-year good-behaviour bond for previous charges of disorderly behaviour and resisting arrest after she had refused to leave a hotel when intoxicated.
"You now have a distrust of vaccinations, believing they were the cause of your son's death," she said.
